Yoga, Sound & Ayurveda retreat

Oceanfront in Ericeira, Portugal
(30 min from Lisbon)

27th to 31st of May 2026

You can’t join those dates? That’s a shame. Put yourself on the waitlist for the upcoming retreats

For 5 days and 4 nights, I invite you to step away from the rush of daily life and join me in the coastal town of Ericeira, just 30 minutes from Lisbon.

We’ll stay in a 4-star premium beach villa only two minutes from the ocean, complete with sauna, pool, and garden—falling asleep each night to the sound of the waves.

This retreat is about resetting your nervous system, reconnecting with yourself, and deepening your holistic practice through Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Sound Healing, and the wisdom of Ayurveda, where food becomes medicine.

Suitable for all levels: This retreat is ideal for both beginners and advanced practitioners. You’ll explore new practices and, for the experienced yogis, deepen into advanced asanas. Classes will be guided and assisted at all times, so you’ll feel supported wherever you are in your journey.

This retreat is rooted in tradition, shaped by the depth of my own practice as a long-time yogi and my regular travels to India, weaving together timeless elements such as silent mornings, Meditation, Vinyasa & Yin Yoga, Pranayama, Ayurveda, and the sacred Cacao Ceremony.

I intend for you to leave Portugal not only rested and inspired, but also with tools that you can carry into your daily life, so the transformation continues long after you return home.

Come as you are: I’ll meet you by the ocean.

Why this retreat?

After Anne, one of the retreat hosts, moved from Berlin to Portugal, Ericeira, can hardly wait to invite you to her new home with this retreat.

This retreat is a very special one, according to the motto Essence of yoga, we want to invite you to enjoy a week spend by the ocean and dive deep into the ancient wisdom of Yoga & Sound healing.

The retreat combines ancient wisdom & holistic elements:

  • the old practice of Sound Healing with Tibetan singing bowls
  • The power of traditional Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, combined with Pranayama practice activates Prana, as well as gentle Yin Yoga, which invites you to let go and integrate.
  • The practice of meditation with mornings in stillness will allow us to soften

Our retreat location

The yoga retreat takes place right by the sea in the beautiful Saone Guesthouse. It is located in the nature reserve, near the coastal town of Ericeira. Ericeira is about 30 minutes north of Lisbon. The yoga center is located right on the beach, so you can wake up to the sound of the ocean in the morning. The beautiful rocky beach of São Julião is just a 15-minute walk away.

The Saone guesthouse is equipped with everything you need to relax. The three floors of the new coastal villa offer plenty of space. There is a large eat-in kitchen and a large living room with a fireplace. There is also a reading corner. In the garden there is a pool, hammocks and sun loungers. On the ground floor, there is a sauna, a wellness area and our large yoga room with sea views. It doesn’t get any better than this.

The hosts

Anne is a Vinyasa & Yin Yoga teacher, Sound Healer & Ayurvedic chef. After living many years in Berlin, she decided to follow her dream and move to Portugal to Ericeira, where the retreat takes place.

Anne has been teaching yoga & holding space for retreats since 2020. Since following the Yoga path, she has done over 800h of training in Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Sequencing, Yin Yoga, Sound Healing, Ayurveda nutrition & cooking, as well as Mantra & Bhakti Yoga. She regularly travels to India to understand Yoga & Ayurveda better & to deepen her practice.

In her work, she likes to bring all these elements, as well as her own experiences and travels.

To learn more about Anne’s work, check out her here.

Laura is a certified yoga teacher based in Berlin, known for teaching with clarity, lightness, authenticity, and presence. Her approach to yoga is accessible and non-dogmatic — beyond perfection or pressure — creating moments where you can come closer to yourself, move from the head into the body, and simply arrive in the present moment.

For Laura, yoga is a path from doing to feeling, from striving to being. It’s an invitation to slow down, to breathe consciously, and to reconnect — with yourself, with the moment, and with life.

Originally from Spain, Laura combines the lightness of the South with the creative pulse of Berlin. Since 2012, yoga has been her constant companion — a space for movement, reflection, and true presence.

In her classes and retreats, Laura weaves together physical practice, meditation, and mindful reflection, offering not only movement and breath but also inspiration — something that lingers: a thought, a sense of awareness, or a feeling of connection.

Taxi: You can share an Uber from the airport to the location with other participants (costs approx. 30€).

Bus: Alternatively, there is a bus from Campo Grande, Lisbon to Ericeira Terminal every 30-60 min (cost: 4,50€).

From Ericeira Terminal, you can simply take Uber or Bolt to the location (cost: 5€).

Before departure, we will ensure that all participants are connected via a Telegram or WhatsApp group, allowing you to travel together easily and share cabs from the airport to the location if necessary.

Voices from our past retreats

“I attended the Back to the Roots retreat in Ericeira held by Anne and it was an incredible experience! She is a wonderful facilitator and I learned so much from her about yoga, Ayruveda, sound healing, and pranayama breathwork. I highly recommend her retreat to anyone that wants to deepen their connection to themselves and their healing practices!”
Meredith
“I attended the “Back to the Roots” yoga retreat in Portugal and it was simply a dream! The location was beautiful, in the middle of nature and with an incredible sunset every evening. Anne and Laura (the lead yoga teachers) made me feel very comfortable and they were always there for me if I had any questions. The delicious and healthy food was a real highlight for me, as it was prepared with a lot of love and attention to detail. The accommodation was also beautiful and very cozy, bright and stylish. I particularly liked the good mix of yoga and relaxation. Sometimes active, sometimes very calm. I particularly enjoyed the yoga classes because they were individually tailored to you and some yoga poses were also corrected, and the Ayurveda workshop was also really exciting and gave me lots of new ideas. I can only warmly recommend Anne and Laura! I went home after the retreat with a lot of peace, new ideas and a big smile!”
Judith
“From the start when we were planning the itinerary, Anne was so open and helpful. The retreat itself was a dream - we did vinyasa yoga, pranayama breath work, cacao ceremony, journaling, sound baths, and yin yoga. It was the perfect mix of challenging poses, reflecting, and relaxation. My favourite part of the retreat was the yin yoga with sound - I have never done a class before where the Tibetan bowls were played while we held the yoga postures. I also appreciated the thought and care Anne put into the full experience - we started sessions with singing mantras, there was incense burning, and a beautiful altar in every session. We can’t wait to spend time with Anne when we are in Portugal again."
Gina
“She is very empathetic and responds individually to each participant and their abilities. She corrected me in the asanas and showed me that I can actually achieve much more! During the retreat, it became clear that she is not only a passionate yoga teacher, but also an excellent cook. She is very knowledgeable about Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic lifestyle - I was able to benefit greatly from her knowledge. I can only warmly recommend Anne and her retreats! She puts an incredible amount of love and skill into her work and is always ready to help.”
